Born and raised in Baton Rouge, he is deeply rooted in the community he serves and genuinely invested in seeing the people around him build something lasting. That belief in the power of homeownership is not just something he talks about. It is the thread that runs through everything he does as a Loan Officer at Citywide Home Mortgage. James entered the mortgage industry in 2019, starting in a loan officer assistant and processing role before transitioning to originating full time in 2020. In the years since he has helped hundreds of clients finance their dream homes across the Greater Baton Rouge Area and throughout Louisiana. He was the top producer at his previous company two years running, holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from LSU, and is CAFA certified, credentials that reflect both his dedication to the craft and his commitment to serving clients at the highest level. He works with a wide range of borrowers including veterans, first-time homebuyers, investors, and families, and brings the same energy and determination to every single file regardless of loan size or complexity. What sets James apart is his refusal to give up on a client. He believes that everyone deserves a fair shot at homeownership and that it is his job to find a way to make it happen. He is easy to reach, quick to respond, and the kind of loan officer who makes his clients feel like they are his only client. His goal is not just to close a loan but to help people build generational wealth and realize their full potential through the home they are about to own.
